Our challenge is to build LA SEMILLA as sustainable as possible, understanding sustainability as a whole.

Sustainability is commonly known as the balance and harmony that exists in between 3 main pillars: economic, social and environmental impacts. In this model we added and combined 3 more pillars that will take this to a whole new level:

– 1st pillar is to build and design beyond common architecture, every structure and element used serves a higher purpose.

– 2nd pillar is timeless, the permanence in time, speaking not only about the quality and durability but also the impact and ripple effect this positive experience will reverberate throughout our lives.

– 3rd pillar is to see the project as a life source of endeless energy, internal regeneration and overall health and wellbeing, giving birth to the Real Sustainable Business Model.

the founder of La Semilla

She is a Brand Strategist, and a Conscious Designer from Colombia, with a Master’s Degree in Brand Management and Creative Direction, from the European Institute of Design, in Milan, Italy.

She has worked in one of the biggest advertising agencies in Europe and has more than 10 years of experience developing branding strategies for both international and local brands.

She has lived a total of 6 years between Canada and in Italy and traveled around the world, giving her a global perspective of life to find better solutions. This has led her to speak several languages like English, Italian, Spanish and a little bit of French.

In her personal life, Wen is definetly a lover of nature, animals, good food and a healthy life style, loves to travel, enjoys music, movies, meditation and yoga. Architecture and conscious geometry compose her DNA, and well, learning is an important part of her life too, she has acquired multiple trainings in sustainibily, alternative health therapies, landscaping and biophilic architecture.

3 years ago she started this journey to create and manifest La Semilla, with just one thought in her mind, that “this will change the world forever”. La Semilla was born and is now her life mission.

He is a holistic architect, with more than 40 years of experience, specializing in the use of bioregenerative materials such as bamboo.

He is an expert in applying the proportions of sacred geometry in architectural designs, viewing the work as a multifunctional field that creates energy that restores the land.

He has directed more than 25 architectural projects, taught as a professor of architecture at more than 6 national universities and a self-taught researcher for over 50 years.

His practice at La Semilla as an urban planner is based on designs aligned with the values of nature, prioritizing landscaping as the productive industry of biota and its environment. He practices the law of RECIPROCITY, and that is: the Earth provides everything to us and therefore, we most give back to the Earth.
